John Evans

Since he was a schoolboy growing up in Melbourne John Evans has been obsessed with golf.
From playing elite amateur and professional events to coaching, tournament organising and
even manufacturing his own line of clubs, there is not much John hasn’t done in the game.
That unique perspective and lifetime of knowledge combined with a lifelong passion for
horse racing and betting puts John in a unique position to co-host the weekly Risk and
Reward podcast presented by Winning Edge Investments.
John brings his innate knowledge of the game to the Betfair betting markets each week to
find golfers at above market betting value, all the while entertaining and educating about
golf in a way that only an insider can.

Connor T. Lewis

Connor T. Lewis is the golfer behind the Society of Golf Historians, a social platform designed to entertain and inform people on golf’s illustrious past while at the same time making sense of our game using a historical perspective. Connor makes golf history interesting and that’s why he was the first – and only – choice to co-host this monthly look at how the game came to be what it is today. Everything from the history of golf courses, players, the tools of the trade and rules are part of these monthly discussions which sometimes feature special guests as well as questions from listeners. When he’s not recording or working, Connor is also the Consulting Historian for one of the Top 10 Golf Clubs in the World (but he’s not telling which one so you’ll just have to guess!)

Derek Duncan

As Senior Writer based out of Florida for Travelgolf.com and Worldgolf.com from 2000 to 2005, Derek Duncan racked up hard miles and long hours visiting virtually any nook or hamlet he could reach, writing profiles on everything from quaint country courses to power venues like the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course. His writing soon branched out to national destinations, feature interviews and a bi-monthly column, The Armchair Architect, but his love and appreciation for golf and golf courses remained grounded in those grassroots excursions by Honda.
Duncan’s writing has appeared in numerous magazines including LINKS, The Met Golfer, Executive Travel, GO!, Golf Chicago, Avid Golfer, Golfstyles, Florida Travel + Life, USA Today and others. He was a Contributing Editor at Travel + Leisure Golf from 2006 to 2009 and author of the “New Course Review” feature, and is a regular contributor to Golf Georgia Magazine.
