The Good-Good Golf Podcast

Hosted ByDerek Duncan, Adrian Logue & Rod Morri

Podcasting brought them together and now the Good Good Golf Podcast is the result. Hosts Derek Duncan, Adrian Logue and Rod Morri are all avid podcast producers and listeners and after admiring each other’s work from a distance for months they finally connected on an episode of the now defunct iSeekGolf Book Club. The loss of that show, however, cleared the way for the birth of Good-Good, a corner of the internet where golf nerds can shamelessly congregate to discuss everything from the nuances of a redan par-3 to whether local government has a responsibility to promote golf. Welcome to the golf podcast world’s most eclectic show!

All Episodes

Ep 006: What’s an Axolotl? And a Protectorate?

Derek Duncan rejoins the show for Episode Six just days after penning an intriguing essay on the golf business which attracted plenty of attention on Twitter during the week. We chat about that plus solve the rollback problem once and for all, wonder what millennial golfers want, the great Ladies Tee debate and who would win a fight between an Axolotl and a lion? And just what is a Protectorate?

Ep 005: Racetrack Around The Golf Course?

Derek Duncan has the week off but Rollback Alliance co-founder Matt Mollica courageously steps into the breach to talk all things golf on Episode 5 of The Good Good Golf Podcast. We chat whether The Masters has as much influence as most believe, why they won’t go it alone with a tournament ball, ponder whether adding a racetrack to a suburban golf course could save it and why a video clip from a tournament almost 30 years ago went viral.

Ep 004: The beauty of a flower is available to me

On Episode Four of The Good-Good Golf Podcast Adrian Logue, Derek Duncan and Rod Morri dissect some of the big questions about the media and golf, wonder about the obsession of competition play in Australia and is there beauty in the modern bash and splat game?

Ep 003: The Derek Duncan Fallout

On last week’s episode Derek Duncan caused a storm of controversy with his revelation that his stance on the distance debate was ‘evolving’. This week he deals with the fallout plus we discuss the cult following of Sweetens Cove and whether drivers failing conformity tests on the PGA Tour is a serious issue.
We also welcome our first sponsor to the TalkinGolf Network with online retailer of high end apparel The Golf Society joining us this week with a special introductory offer for podcast listeners. Simply log on to the website to get a $25 voucher for any purchase over $60.

EP 002: The Derek Duncan Bombshell

On Episode two of The Good Good Golf Podcast Derek Duncan joins the team and it’s quite the debut when he drops a bombshell about his thoughts on the distance debate. We also get the good oil from Adrian Logue about golf in Denmark and England plus call local governments to account for their mixed messaging around the elderly and golf.

Ep 001: Good-Good The Beginning

On this first episode of the Good-Good Golf podcast there’s not much golf chat but a bit of an explanation about some pretty big changes at the TalkinGolf network. The show will be hosted by Rod Morri, Adrian Logue and Derek Duncan (of Feed The Ball fame) and we’re hoping it will prove as engaging, educational and entertaining as any golf show on the internet. If you’d like to hear a bit about the new direction we’re heading this episode explains but we’ll be back with more golf specific chat next week.
